I grew up in a small mountain village in southern China, where life was simple and opportunities were scarce. At 16, I moved to Australia without knowing a word of English, hoping to find a better future. The transition was brutal: I felt alone in a strange land, was bullied for my broken English and shy demeanor, and struggled every day just to understand my classes. To survive, I scrubbed dishes in restaurant kitchens and later flipped burgers at fast-food joints. I often felt invisible in those early daysan introverted teenager with big dreams stuck washing plates but I never let that little spark of hope inside me die out.
Determined to change my situation, I threw myself into education. I studied accounting and finance in college and, despite the language barrier, graduated in the top 1% of my class. I thought a perfect transcript would guarantee success, but reality had other plans. Even with honors and high distinctions, I couldn’t land a single job in my field. I sent out dozens of résumés and went to interview after interview, but employers only saw an inexperienced immigrant, not the hard worker behind the grades.
To pay the bills, I took on a night shift stocking shelves at a local supermarket. By day I was a proud graduate; by night I was mopping floors and cleaning aisles. It was a humbling and frustrating chapter of my life I started to question if my effort had been for nothing, or if I was destined to stay stuck forever. But a stubborn part of me refused to give up.
In that spirit, I decided to create my own opportunity. I started a small tutoring and bookkeeping business out of my garage. I had no connections, no fancy office—just a second-hand laptop, a makeshift desk, and a determination to make a difference. The business was slow to grow and I made plenty of mistakes, but each setback taught me a lesson and kept me moving forward
Late one night, exhausted and nearly defeated, I stumbled upon a set of personal development audio cassettes featuring legends like Tony Robbins, Les Brown, and Jim Rohn. As I listened to those tapes, their words lit a fire in me that I didn’t know I had and made me realize that my mindset not my circumstances was the key to my future.
That night, I stopped seeing my struggles as roadblocks and started seeing them as training. For the first time, I saw my struggles in a new light: every bout of loneliness, every failure, and every doubt had been training me for a greater mission. I understood that I could transform my story into a message and use it to help others unlock their own potential.
Armed with this new mindset, I set out to turn my life around. I stepped far outside my comfort zone and joined Toastmasters to conquer my fear of public speaking. I went from trembling at the thought of introducing myself to speaking confidently in front of audiences, eventually earning recognition from Toastmasters International for my progress. In fact, the kid who once couldn’t speak a sentence of English eventually delivered a TEDx talk — sharing my journey on a stage I could only dream of before. I even poured my insights and experiences into a book called Thrive, becoming a published author and spreading my message to readers around the world.
At the same time, I ventured into the world of business with newfound confidence, even hosting annual international business mastery seminars to mentor entrepreneurs from all over the globe. I also launched and scaled several private equity ventures, applying the success principles I had learned along the way. Before I turned 35, those efforts paid off — I achieved financial freedom, something I once thought was impossible. This milestone didn’t just give me wealth—it gave me time, the most valuable asset of all. I decided to focus on what truly matters to me: teaching others, consulting for businesses, and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — a passion that keeps me grounded and disciplined.
After years of struggle, setbacks, and breakthroughs, I’ve distilled everything I’ve learned into three fundamental principles. These aren’t just theories—they’re battle-tested truths that have guided my journey from a dishwasher in a foreign country to financial freedom and personal fulfillment.
Success isn’t random—it follows patterns. There’s a science to building wealth, growing a business, and achieving mastery. The best strategies have already been discovered, tested, and proven by those who came before us. The key is to study what works, apply it relentlessly, and refine it for yourself.
Success is also an art—trust your intuition, take risks, adapt, and make the system your own.
You don’t have to start from scratch. Most problems you’ll face in life and business have already been solved by someone else. The fastest way to level up isn’t by reinventing the wheel, but by finding mentors, learning from those ahead of you, and implementing proven systems.
The key is to balance learning with action—study relentlessly, but don’t get stuck in theory. Execute, refine, and repeat.
Success isn’t just about money, achievements, or recognition—it’s about balance. If it costs your peace, health, or relationships, it’s not true success. Fulfillment comes from growth, contribution, and living by your values.
I’m not a guru, just a guide helping you unlock what’s already within. Real breakthroughs come from discovering your own path, not copying others. These principles have shaped my life—embrace them, and you won’t just succeed, you’ll thrive.

I share my story for one reason—to show you that no matter where you start, your finish line is yours to define. If a shy teenager from a remote mountain village who couldn’t speak the language, had no connections, and doubted himself at every turn can build financial freedom and a life of meaning, then imagine what you can do.
The obstacles you face today aren’t roadblocks; they’re raw materials for your growth. The doubts, the setbacks, the failures—they’re not stopping you, they’re shaping you. Every challenge is preparing you for something bigger.
So, take that next step. Live with passion. Own your potential. Build the life you were meant for.
If I have the privilege to serve you, guide you, or walk alongside you in any capacity, it would be my absolute pleasure. Join me on this journey ahead because you are built to thrive and forged for freedom.
